The Virginia Horse Center will host its Fall Schooling Horse Trials and Combined Test on August 23-24, offering riders of all levels a relaxed and educational environment to gain experience. Saturday features an open schooling day from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., allowing riders to practice dressage, show jumping, and cross-country with flexible scheduling and safety monitors. Entry is $75, with pre-registration available online or day-of.

Sunday’s unrecognized competition includes horse trials from Starter to Training levels and Combined Tests from Intro to Modified, with dressage-only options also available. Full horse trial entry costs $145, and Combined Test entry is $75, with all entries due by August 12 (late entries accepted through August 18 with a fee).
