Vinceremos Therapeutic Riding Center Seeks Volunteers to Support Equine Therapy for People with Disabilities

The Vinceremos Therapeutic Riding Center, a nonprofit in Loxahatchee Groves, offers equine-assisted therapy to individuals with physical, cognitive, and emotional disabilities. Volunteers play a crucial role in supporting the center’s programs, which provide therapeutic horseback riding that boosts physical health, confidence, and emotional well-being. Volunteers of all experience levels are welcome, with roles ranging from horse care to rider support, and the center emphasizes safety and training through a color-coded badge system. Many volunteers, like Jeanna Wyche and Lindsay Coules, find the experience rewarding both personally and as a way to give back to the community.

Founded in 1982 by Ruth Menor, Vinceremos serves people of all ages in Palm Beach County and relies on a dedicated volunteer base to maintain its programs. Families of riders, such as Dr. Anita Baxas and Stacy Gutner, praise the center for the positive impact on their children’s lives. With about 150 registered volunteers but only 50 regulars, the center continually seeks new volunteers, especially during busy times like the holidays. The public is invited to attend the upcoming Holiday Horse Show on November 22, and those interested in volunteering or learning more can contact Vinceremos directly.
