USEF Launches EZ Entry Software to Simplify Horse Show Entries and Eligibility Checks

As the new competition season approaches, many members have expressed frustration with the current horse show entry process, which often involves paper entries and manual checks against US Equestrian (USEF) databases. To address these challenges, USEF is introducing EZ Entry, a new software fully integrated with their database to streamline eligibility checks, membership verification, and health documentation uploads. The system also facilitates real-time result transmission and posting, and will be free for USEF licensed competitions.

EZ Entry is launching a pilot program in 2026, seeking competition organizers—especially those using paper entries or without existing software contracts—to test the system and provide feedback. The software is designed to be flexible and scalable to accommodate the diverse needs of USEF’s 29 breeds and disciplines. A full launch is planned for 2027, with a webinar scheduled for summer 2024 to demonstrate the system to interested parties.
