US Equestrian has announced a new series of Equine Safety and Welfare Town Hall events for summer and fall 2025, following the success of their first meeting held on June 11 at the Split Rock Hunter Jumper Classic II in Kentucky. These events aim to promote open dialogue between the Federation and participants across all breeds and disciplines to enhance the well-being of equine athletes through collaborative discussion and action. Upcoming town halls will be held at various venues, including an eventing competition at stable View’s Oktoberfest on September 27, with additional meetings planned for the winter season in Florida and California.
The town halls will be open to the public and feature panels of USEF staff and affiliate organization representatives. Details on dates, times, and locations will be updated on the USEF website as they are finalized. To increase accessibility, an online town hall will also be held before the end of the year. US Equestrian encourages written feedback on equine welfare and suggestions for improving the sport, which can be submitted via email.
