UAE President’s Cup Series for Purebred Arabian Horses Kicks Off in Morocco

The second leg of the UAE President’s Cup Series for Purebred Arabian Horses is set to take place on April 26, 2025, at the Anfa sand racetrack in Casablanca, Morocco, under the patronage of Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan. This prestigious event is part of the UAE-Moroccan Festival and features eight competitive races with a total prize fund of 250,000, making it one of the most significant Arabian horse racing events in Morocco’s history.

Seventeen elite horses from renowned stables across Morocco, North Africa, and Europe will compete in a 2,100-meter Group 3 race. Notable contenders include BURAAK, GHASHAM, VICA GRINE, and GASSAAN, among others. The event highlights the growing prestige of the President’s Cup, showcasing the increasing participation and competitive spirit in Arabian horse racing.

Faisal Al Rahmani, Secretary General of the Higher Organising Committee, emphasized the transformative impact of Sheikh Mansour’s vision on the racing industry. The event not only aims to elevate standards among breeders and owners but also serves as a platform for Moroccan talents to gain international recognition, marking a historic moment for the Cup and its expanding influence in the region.
