The U.S. Para dressage Team had a strong showing at the FEI-level competition in Tryon, N.C., blending experienced athletes with newer horse-rider combinations to build momentum ahead of the world championship year. Led by Chef d’Equipe Michel Assouline and Team Leader Laureen Johnson, the team achieved several scores above 70%, with a total team score of 421.424 from the FEI Para Grand Prix Tests A and B. Notably, Kate Shoemaker and her new mount Supreme delivered consistent performances above 72%, while Hannah Kingsley and Eragon VF earned personal bests, signaling promising developments for the program.
Other team members, Cindy Screnci with For Memory 4 and Sydney Collier with Bell Bottoms, also contributed solid results, continuing to improve their partnerships and scores in their respective grades.
