The U.S. Jumping Team had a standout week at the Caledon Equestrian Park in Ontario, Canada, winning the FEI Jumping Nations Cup Caledon CSIO3 with a near flawless two-round team performance and securing an individual victory in the $90,000 Grand Prix of Caledon CSIO3. Led by Chef d’Equipe Anne Kursinski and Team Leader Erin Keating, the team demonstrated strong focus and camaraderie, with notable performances from Marilyn Little and La Contessa, who delivered fault-free rounds and a fastest jump-off time to clinch the Grand Prix win. Other team members, including Sloane Coles, Elena Haas, and Alexandra Worthington, also contributed solid rounds, marking successful debuts and strong showings in international competition.
Kursinski emphasized the importance of the CSIO3* event in developing younger athletes and horses by providing valuable experience under pressure, which is crucial for future senior-level competitions. The event highlighted the depth and talent of the U.S. team, with additional top finishes from Tanner Korotkin and Worthington in the Grand Prix. The success at Caledon reflects the strength of the U.S. Jumping Team’s preparation and teamwork, supported by the USET Foundation, USOPC, and USEF sponsors.
