The U.S. Jumping Team kicked off their European CSIO3* Tour at the 2025 LONGINES EEF Nations Cup in Martofte, Denmark, finishing fifth out of thirteen teams with a total of 20 faults. Led by Chef d’Equipe Anne Kursinski and Team Leader Erin Keating, the team comprised experienced riders Alessandra Volpi, Cathleen Driscoll, Raleigh Hiler, and Alise Oken. Denmark won the event with just one fault, while Poland and Germany followed in second and third place, respectively.
The competition saw each team member contribute to the overall score, with Driscoll and her horse Idalgo performing notably well by securing a clear round in the first round. Volpi faced challenges with her mount, Gipsy Love, while Hiler experienced an elimination. Oken anchored the team with a strong performance on Forrestal, allowing the U.S. to advance to the second round in fifth place.
In the second round, the team aimed to improve their scores, with Driscoll again showing strong potential. Despite some faults from Volpi, Hiler, and Oken, the team maintained their fifth-place position. The U.S. Jumping Pathways program continues to support young talent, and the team looks forward to their next competition at the LONGINES EEF Nations Cup in Drammen, Norway, from June 5-9.
