Trinityhouse Little Falls’ young equestrians, Tyra Naidoo and Mikayla Walls, delivered impressive performances at the recent South African National Equestrian Schools Association (Sanesa) Gauteng qualifier. Tyra, riding Lord Nelson, secured top placements across multiple events, including first in In-hand Utility (Level 1) and podium finishes in showjumping and dressage tests. Mikayla, with her horse Gummy-Berry, also excelled, winning several categories such as In-hand Utility (Level 2) and dressage Tests, while earning second places in various riding disciplines.

The Sanesa qualifiers provide a platform for young riders to showcase their skills in dressage, showjumping, and utility events, emphasizing good horsemanship and strong community support. The school’s head of marketing and admissions, Vinni Townsend, praised the riders’ dedication and achievements, highlighting the vital role of trainers, family, and friends in their success.
