Geraldine White, assistant manager at Greenslade Taylor Hunt’s Chard office, tragically passed away following a serious horse-riding accident during an endurance ride on October 25. Despite being airlifted to a hospital in Southampton, she never regained consciousness. White, 76, had been a valued member of the GTH team since 1993 and was known for her professionalism, energy, and dedication, overseeing numerous local property sales.

Raised in Ireland and later based in East Devon, White was passionate about both estate agency and horse riding, where she was fiercely competitive. Friends and colleagues remember her as generous, kind-hearted, and spirited, with a love for endurance riding and long-distance walking. Tributes highlight her loyalty, commitment, and the deep impact she had on those around her, with heartfelt condolences extended to her family and friends.
