Traverse City Horse Shows Kick Off Summer Season with Exciting New Nations Cup Event

The Traverse City Horse Shows are kicking off their summer season at Flintfields Horse Park in Williamsburg, Michigan, a venue known for hosting international equestrian events for over a decade. This year, a notable addition is the Nations Cup, where riders compete for their countries alongside teammates, marking a shift from the typically individual nature of show jumping.

Lindsay Brock, the press officer for the event, highlighted the unique aspect of the Nations Cup, which will feature competitors from North America and Europe. This format fosters a sense of national pride and camaraderie among riders, enhancing the competitive atmosphere.

Francisco Goyoaga Mollet, a participant and winner of a recent event, praised the welcoming environment of the park, noting that it has garnered positive feedback from riders. The shows will take place from June to September, with competitions commencing daily at 8 a.m.
