Title: "Highlights from the Royal Windsor Horse Show: Native Ponies Shine in Championship Classes"

At the Royal Windsor Horse Show, native ponies showcased their talents in various breed classes, culminating in the overall Horse & Hound M&M in-hand championship judged by Kerry Wainwright. Cathy Wood’s Connemara stallion, Clover Hill Magic, emerged victorious, improving upon last year’s performance, while the reserve champion was the Shetland mare Sharptor Kerri-Anne, owned by David Hodge and Julian Walters.

Several other breeds also shone at the event. Sally McIntyre’s Dales mare, Griseburn Rose, claimed breed honors, and Elizabeth Etchells’ Exmoor pony, Moonpenny Fantasia, made a notable return to the show-ring after a six-year hiatus. Other champions included Edals Raymond in the Dartmoor category, Castle Hill Glenfiddich in the Fell breed, and Kerahope Breagh as the Highland pony champion.

The Welsh section saw impressive performances as well, with champions like Senators Black Satin in section D and Llanmorlais Reagan in section C. Paul Radcliffe’s Longhalves Regal Heir continued a family legacy by winning the Welsh section B title, while last year’s supreme champion, Hoekehorst Example, once again represented the Welsh section A.
