LAWRENCEBURG, KY — The countdown is on! The 2025 Lawrenceburg Fair & Horse Show is set to return bigger and better than ever, running June 14–21 at the American Legion Post 34. With a jam-packed schedule of motorsports, carnival attractions, pageants, and family entertainment, this year’s fair promises a thrilling blend of small-town charm and high-energy excitement.

Opening Weekend: Engines, Elegance & Energy

The festivities roar to life on Saturday, June 14, with high-octane action and a touch of pageantry:

  • ATV & Mower Pulling
  • The adrenaline-pumping Top Dawg Motorsports Demolition Derby
  • The first round of beauty pageants, featuring children’s and teen categories

Midweek Magic: Carnival & Classic Fun

From June 17–21, the fairgrounds transform into a family paradise featuring:

  • Fox Creek Amusements carnival rides
  • Smitty’s Bounce Houses
  • The All-American Petting Zoo & Pony Rides
  • The Magic of Mark Comley
  • Laser Tag, additional pageants, and nightly horse shows

Grand Finale – Saturday, June 21

The fair wraps up with a full-blown celebration:

  • All carnival attractions in full swing
  • The Kentucky Truck & Tractor Pullers Association (KTPA) delivering thunderous horsepower in a grand finale pull that’ll shake the stands

Spotlight on the Pageants

A key tradition of the fair, the Miss Lawrenceburg Fair & Horse Show Pageant and its related competitions will span several days, held at the Anderson County High School Auditorium. Dates and categories include:

  • June 14: Ages 2–4 (individuals), Princess, Pre-Teen, Teen
  • June 16: Miss Lawrenceburg Fair & Horse Show (main event)
  • June 17: Baby Pageant (Under 2, held at Patriot Hall)
  • June 18: Ms./Mrs.
  • June 19: Little Miss & Mister

Miss Lawrenceburg Fair & Horse Show – Rules & Prizes

The premier pageant on June 16 begins with interviews at 4:30 PM and includes judged segments in fun fashion, swimsuit, and evening gown categories. Contestants must be:

  • Female, age 16–21 (by Oct. 31)
  • Unmarried, no children
  • Residents eligible to represent the fair throughout the year

Prizes Include:

  • State Representative Winner: $350, crown, sash, flowers, and entry into the KY State Fair Pageant
  • Local Representative: $100, crown, and appearances at local events
  • Cash prizes also awarded to top 5 finalists and for standout categories (swimsuit, interview, evening gown)

Baby Pageant Under 2 – June 17

For the littlest fairgoers, the Baby Pageant kicks off at 5:30 PM in the arena:

  • Registration: June 17, 4:30–5:15 PM @ Patriot Hall
  • Entry Fee: $10 (Cash Only)
  • Attire: Casual summer wear (no formalwear)
  • Open to Anderson County residents only

Participants and one guardian will receive free gate entry.
