Title: "First-Person Horse Riding Mod for Oblivion Remastered: A Janky Yet Exciting New Feature"

In “Oblivion Remastered,” players are restricted to a third-person camera while riding horses, a limitation that has sparked interest among the community. A recent trailer from Bethesda hinted at the possibility of first-person horse riding, reminiscent of the original “Oblivion,” leading to speculation about whether this feature was intended for the remaster but ultimately omitted.

In response to this, modder WinterElfeas has created an early version of a mod titled “First Person Horse,” allowing players to experience riding in first-person view. However, this pre-alpha version comes with several issues, such as abrupt camera transitions and clipping problems when navigating terrain, which detracts from the immersive experience.

While the mod is a step towards enhancing gameplay, WinterElfeas has clarified that it is a basic modification and not a polished solution. They have expressed that more advanced modders will need to refine the concept further, indicating that this initial version is more of a proof of concept than a final product.
