Anette Graf has been appointed as the new CEO of the Swedish Warmblood breeding society (SWB), effective September 1, 2025. With over 25 years of experience in veterinary medicine, business development, and leadership, Graf is committed to sustainable development in the equine sector. She succeeds Helen Uddefors and aims to foster connections among breeders, riders, and horse owners to ensure every horse has the opportunity to thrive.
Graf’s extensive background includes a veterinary degree from the Royal Veterinary College in London and specialist qualifications in equine diseases. She has worked as a consultant at Agria Pet Insurance and has been actively involved in equine welfare through her role as Vice-President of FEEVA. Her clinical experience spans various equine disciplines, and she is a recognized speaker in the field.
Living on a horse farm, Graf trains and competes in dressage, reflecting her deep passion for horses. She emphasizes the importance of accessibility for breeders across Sweden and is eager to continue the ongoing initiatives at SWB. Her collaborative leadership style and commitment to the equine community position her as a promising leader for the organization.
