Times Kismet, an 11-year-old mare formerly ridden by Charlotte Dujardin, made her international grand prix debut with German Olympic gold medallist Jessica von Bredow-Werndl 17 months after joining her stable. After a careful development period, the pair competed nationally in August 2025 before stepping onto the international stage in March 2026 at the Malaspina International Equestrian Centre in Italy. They placed seventh in the grand prix with a score of 66.26% and won the grand prix special the next day with 73.23%. Jessica praised Times Kismet’s quality, power, and focus, while acknowledging there is still room for growth and development.
Jessica expressed excitement about the mare’s enormous potential and the partnership they are building, describing their special win as a milestone in their journey together. This debut comes during an exciting time for Jessica, who also recently celebrated the birth of a foal from her double Olympic gold medallist TSF Dalera BB. The progress with Times Kismet highlights Jessica’s careful and confident approach to bringing a promising horse up to the highest competitive levels.
