The Junior National Equestrian Championship 2024 in New Delhi saw Chennai rider Ali Hatim Lakdawala clinch the Young Rider Showjumping Champion title with an impressive time of 33.31 seconds. The Young Rider Team dressage, led by Siddhant Jaiswal, Jaiveer Verma, and Geethika Tikkisetty, secured first place with a cumulative score of 178.22.

In the show jumping category, Lakdawala beat out competitors E Surya Aditya and Geethika Tikkisetty to claim first place. In the team category, Avik Bhatia, E Surya Aditya, Thanush Gowda, and Geethika Tikkisetty claimed gold with minimum penalty points, outriding the silver and bronze medal-winning teams.

The EFI Secretary General praised the event as a showcase of equestrian talent, with participants displaying competitive spirit and skill across disciplines like Show Jumping, dressage, and Tent Pegging. The Championship will continue until December 29, with various events including Children I Side Event, Tent Pegging, and dressage Style to Music.
