The Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance (TAA) has launched its fourth annual Holiday Giving Campaign, running from December 1 to 31, 2025, to raise awareness and funds for accredited organizations that support retired Thoroughbreds. Building on last year’s success of raising $240,000, the campaign features daily match sponsors from the horse racing industry who will match donations up to a set amount each day. Donors giving $50 or more will receive a free 2026 TAA calendar while supplies last.

TAA emphasizes the importance of providing retired racehorses with safe and dignified transitions to life after racing, supported by a network of 86 accredited organizations. Industry leaders, including West Point Thoroughbreds’ founder Terry Finley, encourage the public to contribute to this cause, highlighting the shared respect for these equine athletes. Donations can be made through the TAA website, where supporters can also subscribe for campaign updates.
