The Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance has announced its annual Off to the Races online benefit auction, featuring 20 VIP racing experience packages for major North American racetracks in 2026. These exclusive packages include tickets to prominent race days and curated horse racing activities, offering fans unforgettable access to events such as the Kentucky Derby, Belmont Stakes, Breeders’ Cup, and more. Proceeds from the auction support accredited aftercare programs for retired Thoroughbreds.

Bidding opens on January 22 at 10 AM EST and closes January 30 at 10 PM EST, with interested participants able to view and register for the auction at thoroughbredaftercare.org/offtotheraces. Emily Dresen, Director of Fundraising & Events, expressed excitement about the auction’s fifth edition, highlighting the opportunity to celebrate horse racing while raising critical funds for aftercare initiatives.
