The second volume of The Whitestone Chronicles comic series, titled The Legend of Vox Machina: The Whitestone Chronicles Volume 2—Cassandra, is set to release on March 10-11, 2026. Published by Dark Horse Books in collaboration with Critical Role and Amazon MGM Studios, this graphic novel is written by Marieke Nijkamp with art by Travis Hymel, colors by Diana Sousa, and lettering by Comicraft.

The story centers on Cassandra de Rolo’s harrowing experience under the control of the Briarwoods following their violent seizure of Whitestone. Critically injured and abandoned by her brother, Cassandra is paradoxically cared for by the Briarwoods while grappling with trauma and suspicion. As the Briarwoods use her to project an image of benevolence, Cassandra becomes an unexpected symbol of resistance and hope for the rebellion led by her childhood friend Archie, facing the challenge of overcoming both her past and the Briarwoods’ manipulative influence.
