The Junior National Equestrian Championship 2024 will take place in two phases at the Army Polo & Riding Centre in Delhi Cantt from December 22-24 and December 26-29. The event has received 507 entries, showcasing the growing popularity of equestrian sports in India, with participants competing in dressage, Show Jumping, and Tent Pegging across different categories.
The Secretary General of the Equestrian Federation of India, Col. Jaiveer Singh, expressed pride in the talent and passion for equestrian sports in India, highlighting the hard work and dedication of the riders, especially the younger generation. The Championship aims to provide a platform for athletes to showcase their skills and set new benchmarks in the sport.
The competition will feature various events, including dressage with 30 Individual and 7 Team participants in the Children-I category, Show Jumping with significant entries in different categories, and Tent Pegging with different types of competitions. The action will kick off on December 22 with Show Jumping events, followed by dressage and Tent Pegging, creating an exciting atmosphere for the equestrian community.
