The Jockey Club announced the election of 10 new members, each distinguished for their significant contributions to the Thoroughbred industry. Among them are Craig Bernick, president and CEO of Glen Hill Farm, known for breeding and racing prominent horses and advocating for industry sustainability; Peter M. Brant, a breeder and owner with notable successes including Kentucky Derby winner Thunder Gulch and recent champions like Sistercharlie and Sierra Leone; and Boyd T. Browning Jr., president and CEO of Fasig-Tipton, who has advanced Thoroughbred sales through digital platforms. Other members include Case Clay, a bloodstock expert and Keeneland board member; Dennis Drazin, CEO of Monmouth Park and a key figure in legalizing sports betting; and Marette Farrell, a leading bloodstock agent and industry mentor.
Additional new members are Jonathan Green, co-owner of D.J. stable and a recognized industry innovator; Andrew Moore, general manager of FanDuel Racing, expanding racing’s reach through digital engagement; Dean Reeves, a successful owner and former Georgia Horse Racing Coalition president; and Bill Strauss, a prominent owner and entrepreneur with graded stakes winners and leadership roles in California racing organizations. Collectively, these new members bring a wealth of experience in breeding, racing, business, and industry advocacy, poised to influence the future of Thoroughbred racing.
