The Jockey Club Elects 10 New Members Including Industry Leaders and Champions

The Jockey Club has elected 10 new members, expanding its roster to 141 members plus 12 honorary members. The new inductees include prominent figures such as Craig Bernick, president and CEO of Glen Hill Farm with a legacy in breeding and racing; Peter M. Brant, a notable breeder and owner with significant achievements including breeding the Kentucky Derby winner Thunder Gulch; Boyd T. Browning Jr., president and CEO of Fasig-Tipton; and Case Clay, a bloodstock expert and Keeneland board member. Other members include Dennis Drazin, CEO of Darby Development and key figure in legalizing sports betting in New Jersey; Marette Farrell, a leading bloodstock agent; Jonathan Green, co-owner of D.J. stable; Andrew Moore, general manager of racing for FanDuel Group; Dean Reeves, co-owner of Reeves Thoroughbred Racing; and Bill Strauss, a successful owner and entrepreneur.

These new members bring a wealth of experience across various facets of the Thoroughbred industry, including breeding, racing management, bloodstock expertise, and industry leadership. Their backgrounds highlight significant contributions to racing operations, horse breeding, industry advocacy, and innovation, reflecting The Jockey Club’s commitment to sustaining and advancing the sport.
