Texas Horse Rescued After Getting Stuck in Cattle Guard

A Texas horse was rescued by the Fort Worth Fire Department and Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office after becoming stuck in a cattle guard. The horse was sedated, and the rescue operation took about 45 minutes to free the animal’s legs. Once freed, the horse was taken to a vet and did not appear to have significant injuries.

This incident marks the second recent horse rescue, with another horse falling into a grain silo basement in California just days before. The Texas horse was safely removed from the cattle guard and helped to stand across the street by officials. The rescue operation was successful in freeing the horse without causing any major harm to the animal.

The Fort Worth Fire Department and Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office worked together to rescue the Texas horse from the cattle guard, sedating the animal and cutting and spreading the guard to free its legs. The horse was then taken to a vet for evaluation and did not suffer any significant injuries during the rescue operation.
