Texas Equine Education & Horsemanship, founded by Shelby Williams in Farmersville, offers a unique equine program that serves a diverse group of participants including preschoolers, retirees, first responders, and children with learning differences. Since 2021, the program has operated on 20 acres with 11 horses and ponies, providing a supportive environment where individuals can develop horseback riding skills, build physical strength, and gain personal growth.

Williams, driven by her lifelong passion for horses and helping others, built the facility largely by hand, creating three arenas and six stalls. What began as informal riding lessons has evolved into a comprehensive program that encourages students to learn from mistakes and discover valuable life lessons beyond the stables.
