Teton is a striking orange cat living on the seven-acre Snowfall Ranch in Colorado, originally brought in by his owners to control the rodent population. Since his arrival, no mice have been seen on the ranch, but Teton has found a unique pastime that goes beyond his initial purpose—riding on the backs of horses, particularly his close friend, a mini horse named Timber. His owners were surprised to discover Teton comfortably perched on horses, with the larger animals seemingly unfazed by his presence.

Teton lives full-time in the barn, sharing space and warmth with the mini horses, often sleeping alongside them despite having his own heated sleeping area. Whether he sees himself as the ruler of the barnyard or simply enjoys the companionship and rides, Teton’s unusual hobby has captured the hearts of his owners and made for charming photos that highlight his bold and adventurous spirit.
