A 17-year-old girl tragically died after falling from a horse at her home in Rockfield, near Killarney, County Kerry. The accident occurred around 5 p.m. on Thursday, June 26th, and despite emergency services’ efforts, she was pronounced dead at the scene. Her body has been taken to the hospital for a postmortem examination.

Authorities, including the Gardaí, the Coroner for Kerry, and the Health and Safety Authority, have been notified and are investigating the incident. Local priest Fr Kieran O’Brien also attended the scene, as tributes continue to be paid to the young girl.
