Ride Egypt has developed a new stable beside an eco-lodge in Bahariya, focusing on long-term sustainability and horse welfare. Their horses are permanent team members, specially trained for desert riding and cared for year-round by dedicated grooms. The riding journeys offer a unique mini break crossing both the White and Black Desert, featuring diverse landscapes from chalk formations to volcanic terrain, with limited phone signal and minimal noise, providing a rare opportunity for mental stillness and time to disconnect.

Operating from late autumn through spring, the trips are conducted in small groups with horses matched to riders’ abilities, while non-riders can enjoy alternative activities included in the itineraries. This experience allows confident riders to explore one of the world’s most striking deserts on horseback, venturing far beyond typical routes and landmarks.
