During National 4-H Week, Susan Willie from Delaware County was honored as a 2025 inductee into the Iowa 4-H Hall of Fame, recognizing her lifelong dedication to 4-H. Beginning her 4-H journey in 1959, Susan actively participated in various projects and later served as a club leader and mentor. Alongside her husband Ken, she supported her four children’s involvement in 4-H, with many family members continuing to contribute as leaders and volunteers.
Beyond club leadership, Susan has been deeply involved in county-level activities, including the Delaware County 4-H/FFA Sheep Committee and the Extension Council, where she has held multiple roles. Now retired, she continues to support 4-H and agriculture education, embodying the spirit of service that the Iowa 4-H Hall of Fame celebrates.
