White Stone Equestrian (WSE) in West Tisbury is a serene working horse farm founded in 2018, home to over 20 horses, a mini horse, and a barn cat. It offers year-round riding lessons and a variety of summer programs for children and teens of all skill levels, running from late June through August. These immersive camps combine daily riding lessons with horse care, grooming, feeding, and fun themed activities like crafts, games, and cart rides, culminating in weekly horse shows that foster confidence, responsibility, and horsemanship.
The summer offerings include the Young Riders program for beginners as young as four, focusing on basic riding and horse care; the Juniors program for more experienced riders who assist with barn duties and advanced activities; and the Summer Barn Rats program for those staying longer on the Island, providing a deeper hands-on experience balancing riding, work, and play. These programs emphasize learning, friendship, and fun, creating lasting memories for all participants. More information is available at whitestonemv.com.
