Strzegom Spring Open Kicks Off Eventing Season with German Riders Leading Dressage

The Strzegom Spring Open eventing season has officially kicked off with dressage tests across multiple international and national classes. In the top CCI4-S class, Germany’s Ben Leuwer leads on Zuccini MN with a score of 28.6 penalties, followed closely by compatriots Konstantin Harting and Libussa Lübbeke. New Zealand’s Samantha Lissington and the Netherlands’ Merel Blom-Hulsman also feature in the top five. In the CCI3-S class, Merel Blom-Hulsman leads on Checkpoint 46, with Germany’s Christoph Wahler and India’s Ashish Limaye trailing.

Event organizer Marcin Konarski emphasized the importance of this early-season competition in shaping riders’ form, noting the strong dressage performances so far.
