Stall Perlen’s Ambitious Flat Season Launch with Promising European Classic Contenders

Stall Perlen, owned by Norwegian businessman Magne Jordanger and his wife Bente, has quickly made a mark in the European Flat racing scene with promising horses trained by Richard Hannon and the Brandts in Chantilly. Their notable runners include Zaramix, a Zarak colt who won a maiden at Saint-Cloud and is being aimed at the Prix du Jockey Club, and Street Show, who narrowly missed victory in a Listed race at Chantilly. Bloodstock agent Morten Buskop, who has a close relationship with the Jordangers, highlighted their strategic and data-driven approach to breeding and racing, emphasizing patience and quality over quantity.

Buskop also shared updates on other Stall Perlen horses, including the homebred Lope De Vega filly Amie Amour and the exciting Take Me On, a high-priced purchase with potential for the English 2,000 Guineas. Additionally, Buskop spoke about Slava Ukraini, a Danish-bred horse with a patriotic name linked to Ukraine, who is making a comeback after injury and has previously been Scandinavia’s top performer. Overall, the Jordangers are steadily building a serious presence in French and European racing with a focus on classic-distance prospects and well-bred stock.
