The 2026 Spring of Connection flower street in Tan Hung Ward celebrates resilience and aspiration as the city embarks on a new development phase after administrative expansion. The centerpiece features a 4.5-meter-tall horse mascot made from modern polygonal blocks alongside traditional bamboo, symbolizing Vietnam’s blend of heritage and growth. A life-sized herd of eight wood-grain horses represents unity and success, while an iron horse inspired by Saint Giong reflects national strength. The installation’s design draws from the city’s metro lines, emphasizing connectivity in a modern metropolis.
Additional elements include sunflowers symbolizing longevity and good fortune, and a bamboo-themed exhibition highlighting notable horse breeds, blending festivity with cultural education. Located along the Crescent Lake promenade, the flower street is a popular Tet destination for photos and outings, open free to the public until February 20, the fourth day of the Lunar New Year.
