The Arezzo Equestrian Centre recently hosted a high-profile event featuring the International Complete Competition alongside the Tuscan Equestrian Championship, drawing numerous athletes, including many from Northern Europe. Over 300 horses competed across various categories, with the cross-country phase standing out as a highlight. Notably, young rider Anastasia Chechi from the Micheletto School of San Casciano Val di Pesa delivered impressive performances, securing sixth place in the Cci 2 category and eleventh in the more demanding Cci 3, where she was the only Tuscan competitor.
The event also showcased strong results in the Tuscan Complete Championship, integrated through the Sport Project. Young talents from the Micheletto Riding School, guided by Giorgio Mazzucchelli and Paola Michetto, excelled, with Sara Bracali winning the Tuscan Junior Champion title and gold medal, and Giorgia Fumarola earning silver. Matteo Innocenti also impressed with a precise and determined cross-country round despite a ranking-affecting error. Overall, the competition highlighted the Arezzo facility’s significance in the international equestrian scene and the rising stars of Tuscan equestrian sport.
