The SPCA reported a distressing case of animal cruelty at a property in South Houston, where multiple animals—including horses, cattle, sheep, dogs, rabbits, chickens, and pigs—were found emaciated and deprived of clean water. Many of the animals were visibly starving, with protruding ribs, and suffered from poor hygiene and skin conditions such as mange.
Thanks to a tip from a concerned citizen and the SPCA’s prompt intervention, the animals have been rescued and are now safe, beginning their recovery process. The organization condemned the neglect as a clear case of cruelty and shared the update on social media to raise awareness.
