Jockey Junior Alvarado expressed strong confidence in the horse’s ability, noting that he eased up during the race because he believed Sovereignty was simply superior.

Looking ahead, Sovereignty’s connections, including trainer Bill Mott and Godolphin USA’s Michael Banahan, confirmed the horse’s next target is the prestigious Travers Stakes on August 23.
