Southern Delaware Therapeutic Riding (SDTR) celebrated its 10th anniversary of providing therapeutic horseback riding services at its Milton facility with a ceremony attended by Delaware State legislature and Sussex County Council officials. During the event, a commemorative plaque was unveiled to honor a decade of transformative service.

Executive Director Jo Allegro-Smith highlighted the individualized nature of the sessions, emphasizing the benefits participants gain, including strength, communication skills, trust, confidence, and empowerment. SDTR officials also shared plans for future expansion, expressing excitement about the organization’s continued growth and impact.
