Sophia Rokstad and Eila Fisk Win Freestyle Gold at 2025 FEI North American Youth Dressage Championships

The 2025 FEI North American Youth Championships in Traverse City, Michigan, concluded with exciting Junior and Young Rider Individual Freestyle dressage competitions. Sophia Rokstad of Canada won Young Rider gold with a personal best score of 73.350%, performing a Taylor Swift-inspired freestyle on Lord Nunes. Lexie Kment (silver) and Marin Roth (bronze) also earned podium spots, highlighting the strong sense of community and support among competitors. In the Junior Freestyle, Eila Fisk took gold with a 1920s swing-themed routine on Quaresma, followed by Catherine Burlew (silver) and Ainsley Leach (bronze), both delivering expressive, music-driven performances.

Beyond the competition, riders emphasized the camaraderie and encouragement that define the championships, with many noting the unique atmosphere of mutual support among regions and countries.
