Snoop Dogg has been named Team USA’s first Honorary Coach, a volunteer role aimed at supporting and motivating American athletes beyond their athletic performance. In this capacity, he joins the “Team Behind the Team,” contributing his humor, mentorship, and passion to inspire athletes as they prepare for the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milano Cortina and future competitions. His involvement reflects his longstanding commitment to youth and sports through initiatives like the Snoop Youth Football League, which has empowered over 15,000 young athletes, including those with disabilities.

In his new role, Snoop Dogg will help raise awareness for the Team USA Fund, which directly supports athletes’ mental health, education, training, and career transitions. He is also collaborating with Fanatics on a Coach Snoop × Team USA merchandise collection, with proceeds benefiting the team. This honorary coaching position complements his existing work with NBCUniversal covering the Winter Games, underscoring his dedication to celebrating and uplifting athletes on and off the field.
