The Sky Bet Ebor Festival Community Sweepstake invites charities and good causes to apply for a chance to be matched with a runner in the Sky Bet Ebor Handicap race on August 23. Twenty-two shortlisted charities will be paired with horses through a live televised draw on August 21, with prize money awarded based on the horses’ finishing positions.
The winning charity will receive £20,000, while second and third places will earn £5,000 and £2,000 respectively. All other shortlisted charities will receive £1,000. Applications opened on June 16 and close on July 18, with entry forms and terms available online.
