Sheikha Fajr Badr Al-Sabah announced the final preparations for the upcoming “EQUICIETY” dressage Championship, scheduled for next Friday and Saturday at the Police Sports Club racetrack in Subhan, Kuwait. The event will feature a record number of riders, both male and female, reflecting the growing popularity of horse dressage, which Sheikha Fajr described as the foundation of equestrian sports. The 2025-2026 season has already included numerous events and training camps supported by the Kuwait Equestrian Federation and coordinated with international dressage authorities to further develop the sport in Kuwait.

Sheikha Fajr emphasized that the promotion of horse dressage has been a multi-year effort, supported by Sheikh Sabah Mubarak Al-Sabah, resulting in the successful organization of many championships across various clubs. The EQUICIETY championship aims to be an annual, high-level event officially recognized by the Kuwait Equestrian Federation and overseen by international judges, underscoring Kuwait’s commitment to advancing dressage within the region.
