Seven dogs, believed to have been used for breeding, were found abandoned in a rural area of Oxfordshire near Wantage and Grove. Local residents discovered the dogs and quickly intervened to gather and care for them until Thames Valley Police arrived.

The dogs, suspected victims of puppy farming, were taken to veterinarians for health checks before efforts to rehome them begin. Thames Valley Police commended the community for their compassionate and swift response, highlighting the positive impact of their actions in rescuing the animals.
