Santa Anita Park will host the equestrian events—dressage, eventing, and jumping—at the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics. The International Equestrian Federation (FEI) confirmed the qualification procedures on December 16, 2025, allocating 57 quota places out of 60, with the United States automatically qualified as host if minimum competition standards are met. Eligibility requires riders to achieve two scores of at least 67% from level 4 judges of different nationalities in Grand Prix events at CDI3* or higher between January 1, 2027, and June 11, 2028.
Fifteen teams, each with three rider-horse pairs from 15 nations (14 plus the host USA), can qualify through various championships: six teams from the 2026 World Championships in Aachen, Germany; two teams from Groups F and G at the same event; three teams from the 2027 European Championships in Denmark; two teams from the 2027 Pan American Games in Peru; and one additional team from Group C at a yet-to-be-determined venue. Additionally, 15 individual athletes from countries without qualified teams will earn spots based on regional group allocations and FEI Olympic rankings.
