Rutherford County 4-H is hosting an Open House on Sunday, September 22, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Lane-Agri Park Community Center for students in 4th through 12th grade and their families. The event offers an opportunity to meet 4-H leaders and members, explore various clubs, and learn about programs in areas such as livestock, horses, poultry, sewing, cooking, photography, and archery. Attendees can also enjoy games, giveaways, and order official 4-H shirts while discovering how 4-H builds life skills, leadership, and community involvement through fun, educational experiences.
As part of the UT Extension Institute of Agriculture and in partnership with Tennessee State University Cooperative Extension, Rutherford County 4-H provides youth with hands-on opportunities in agriculture and personal development. Families interested in learning more are encouraged to attend the Open House or contact Rutherford County 4-H via UT Extension at 615-898-7710 for additional information.
