Ruby Wax, the American-British comedian and actress, is part of the latest lineup for ITV’s reality show I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here. Prior to joining the show, Wax had to cancel her 2019 Edinburgh Fringe performances due to severe back injuries sustained from a horse-riding accident. Despite this setback, she recovered and continued performing at the Fringe in subsequent years, including a recent show titled An Evening with Ruby Wax.

On the show, Wax recounted her infamous 1990s interview with O.J. Simpson, where he mockingly imitated stabbing her with a banana, suggesting he was teasing with an insincere confession. She also reflected on her interviews with other controversial figures like Donald Trump and Bill Cosby, describing Trump’s mindset as “insanity, anger, and arrogance” and labeling Cosby as insane.
