At the Agria Royal International Horse Show in Hickstead, Rowfantina Mr Buddy, a striking five-year-old grey pony, was crowned the Enablelink supreme show hunter pony champion under rider Darcie Fielding. This exceptional pony, bred by Rowfantina Stud and produced by Karl Morris and Liam Glynn, has had an outstanding season with recent wins including the £1,000 supreme title at the North of England Show and the show hunter pony championship at the Royal Highland Show. Owner Aimie Fielding praised Buddy’s consistent effort and loving nature, highlighting the emotional significance of Darcie’s final season riding him.
Following this victory, Buddy will take a break before competing at the Horse of the Year Show in October. Other notable winners at the event included Isla Smith and Sutton Grange Fancy That as reserve supreme champions, Ellie Mae Harrington with Merrycorner Mister Bui in the 153cm category, and Rocco Lindsay with Tandridge Hallmark in the 133cm class.
