The “rodeo for a Cause” event, featuring the inclusive Ropin’ Rascals program, will be held March 18–20 at the Taylor County Expo Center in Abilene. This event aims to support children served by the Make-A-Wish Foundation by raising funds while offering individuals with special needs a chance to engage in rodeo activities like horseback riding and roping lessons in a supportive environment. The program helps participants build confidence and celebrate their abilities by living out their cowboy or cowgirl dreams.
In addition to the Ropin’ Rascals activities, the event will showcase a full-scale rodeo with professional competitors and local ropers, blending elite competition with family-friendly entertainment. Organizers emphasize that the three-day event seeks to unite the community and raise funds to grant wishes for children facing critical illnesses.
