The Rochester Agricultural Show promises a diverse lineup of activities over two days, catering to all ages and interests. Friday evening features laser tag by a Tasmanian company, fireworks, a dog show, children’s activities, a show ānā shine, carnival rides, and the Palmer Agricon 2026 All Breeds Beef Heifer Cattle Spectacular. Gates open at 5 pm and close after the fireworks. Saturday focuses on agricultural displays with free entry, including horse, cattle, dairy, goat, poultry, and working dog shows, alongside new attractions like a virtual harvester simulator and circus performances. Additional highlights include free camel rides, a petting zoo, wildlife warriors, and sensory games, with the event running from 9 am to 3 pm.
Both days will also feature a food court with at least 10 food trucks offering various price points, including a Lions Club barbecue.
