At the 40th Anniversary Millbrook Horse Trials in Millbrook, N.Y., Robin Walker and his 15-year-old Irish Sport Horse SBT Barolo took the lead in the Advanced division after scoring 29.8 in dressage. Walker, who co-owns the horse with Alston Kerr and Roger Schramm, has competed at the four-star level with Barolo. Close behind in second and third are Katie Lichten on HTS Jensen and Allison Springer on Crystal Crescent Moon, respectively, with Lichten also placing ninth on another mount. The event features over 350 entries across levels from Beginner Novice to Advanced, with dressage and cross-country phases underway.

In the Intermediate divisions, Boyd Martin leads both Intermediate A and B on different horses, including Fedarman B and Cooley Nutcracker. The competition continues with show jumping, cross-country, and various activities scheduled for Saturday, including a trade fair, food trucks, and a competitors’ party.
