Ride Yorkshire Announces New Guided Horse Rides for 2026

Ride Yorkshire, a horse riding organisation, has announced new guided rides for the year, building on six rides conducted in January and February. From 2026, experienced Endurance competitor Pip Mead from Farndale will lead riders through the Moors, accompanied by her Dales horse, Roandale Archie. Meanwhile, Ride Yorkshire director Janet Cochrane, who has ridden over 5,500 miles across Yorkshire with her horse Scout, continues to guide rides in the Yorkshire Wolds, Howardian Hills, and other scenic locations.

The guided rides cater to all skill levels, ranging from gentle 5-mile walk-and-trot excursions to more demanding 15-20 mile rides, aiming to help riders gain confidence and enjoy the freedom of open-country riding. Additional information about the rides and accommodation options for horse holidaying is available on the Ride Yorkshire website.
